By using TutorNow ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
TutorNow is an on-demand tutoring marketplace that connects students with tutors for academic help via live video calls or in-person meetings. We facilitate the connection and process payments but are not a party to the tutoring relationship. TutorNow does not employ tutors — tutors are independent service providers.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use TutorNow. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent. Users under 13 are not permitted to create an account.
Tutors must accurately represent their qualifications and provide tutoring services in good faith. Fraudulent credentials may result in immediate account termination.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Sessions are billed per minute at the tutor's hourly rate. You are only charged for the actual time your session lasts — if you end early, you pay less; if you go over your estimated duration, you pay for the actual time used. Tutors receive payouts minus a 20% platform fee.
Students must have a valid payment method on file before requesting a session. When a tutor accepts your request, a temporary hold is placed on your card for the estimated session cost. When the session ends, only the actual amount is charged and any excess hold is released.
If a session is cancelled before it starts, the hold is released and no charge is made.

Users may report inappropriate behavior by other users within the App. Reports are reviewed by our team and may result in warnings, suspension, or account termination at our discretion.
Either party may cancel a session before it begins at no charge. Sessions in progress can be ended at any time — you are charged only for the actual time used, billed per minute. Sessions may continue past the estimated duration; the app will notify you when you approach your estimated time. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
TutorNow is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the quality of tutoring services. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the App.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
